This is what the Association of Wine Producers (VinPro) in a press release. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nAccording to Michael Mokhoro, one of the managers of VinPro, this business opportunity was offered by the trade agreement concluded between the country and the members of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU), which includes Africa in particular. from the South, Botswana, Namibia and Mozambique. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nIt will allow the wine industry to maintain its presence in the UK market despite the country\u2019s exit from the European Union (EU). The United Kingdom represents a strategic outlet for the sector, absorbing around 25% of wine exports. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe industry could export up to 114 million liters of wine to the UK under the Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) between the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and the European Union ( EU) which ends on December 31st. In 2020, South Africa is expected to produce 10.4 million hectoliters of wine according to the latest forecasts from the International Organization of Vine and Wine (OIV).
