These are Brazil, Albania, United Arab Emirates, Gabon and Ghana. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe two African countries obtained 183 and 185 votes respectively. Gabon and Ghana will sit on the board from January 2022 to the end of 2023, replacing Niger and Tunisia. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nFor each, this is the 4th time in their history that this has happened, and they will represent the African continent alongside Kenya, a member until the end of 2022. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nAli Bongo Ondimba, the Gabonese head of state, considered that it was a &#8220;great diplomatic victory&#8221; recorded by his country, and said he was aware of the &#8220;heavy responsibility&#8221; that this entails.
