This is reported by the Bloomberg news agency quoting White House officials.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThis meeting is part of the visit started by the Tanzanian leader to the country of Uncle Sam since Wednesday, April 13. In Washington, the two personalities discussed investment opportunities within their economies.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n\t\t\t\t\t\n\n\t\t    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe visit comes as Tanzania seeks to attract more investors to finance its ambitious development projects, particularly in the infrastructure, transport and energy sectors.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThese include the project to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and export terminal estimated at more than $30 billion. This project should arouse the interest of many international partners, in a context marked by the Russian-Ukrainian crisis which threatens to redistribute the cards of the world oil and gas sector.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nAccording to the American authorities, the discussions between the two politicians will also concern health issues and other subjects.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nSamia Suluhu Hassan was the vice-president of John Magufuli who died suddenly on March 17, 2021.
