The vehicles should be sold on the local, and regional market.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n“The expression of interest aims to develop the local electromobility industry to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to Botswana’s other development goals towards the industry,” the government said in a statement. .\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nAfrican states are becoming increasingly aware of the economic and environmental implications of using fossil fuel vehicles.
