The results-based funding will leverage additional co-financing, at least doubling the total capital invested by the end of the project&#8217;s implementation. This will enable HomeBiogas to supply small-scale Kenyan farmers with its modular biogas systems. \n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe company aims to install 34,000 biogas systems in western and central Kenya, providing 170,000 Kenyan farmers with clean cooking solutions by the end of 2028. &#8220;We are delighted to receive this significant financial contribution from MCFA, which will enable us to bring our revolutionary clean cooking technology to more Kenyan farmers and support our mission to make clean cooking accessible to all,&#8221; said Daniel Mungai, National Business Manager at HomeBiogas in Kenya. Around 900 million Africans generally cook on open fires and rudimentary stoves. These people inhale toxic fumes and vapours, with disastrous consequences for their health.
