Bidders must be reputable engineering companies with the capacity to finance the project, financial institutions with technical partners, companies that own infrastructure or a combination of these three TypearticlePhotoVideos of companies.\nThe pipeline rehabilitation works are divided into four lots. Lot 1 focuses on the infrastructure around Bonny and Port Harcourt, over 210 km. Lot 2 covers the installations around Escravos and Warri, in the Niger Delta. The third batch focuses on Kaduna and Kano with a 604 km pipeline line that goes from Warri to Kaduna, more precisely. \nThe fourth lot concerns work around Atlas Cove and Mosimi. They will also have to build new marginal lines and depots in these areas.\nSuccessful bidders will execute the contracts under a Build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) agreement.\nInterested companies are urged to submit their bids electronically by September 4. The NNPC says a company can apply for two of the lots, but will only be able to win one, implying that there will be four different companies for the four lots.\nIt should be noted that the NNPC has already carried out geotechnical and geophysical studies as well as preliminary engineering and design studies (FEED) to facilitate the work.
